Our terms

The deal between us, in plain English.

Last updated 1 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Websites for Couriers is run by [legal name: your name, or your company name and number], [postal address: home, or a registered office or mail-forwarding address]. You can reach us at hello@websitesforcouriers.co.uk. In these terms "we" means us and "you" means the courier business buying from us.

We sell to businesses, including sole traders. These terms don't take away any rights you have by law.

2. What you get

  • A website for your courier business, written and built from your answers.
  • A web address, set up by us and renewed every year while you're a customer.
  • Hosting: we keep your site online and secure.
  • Small changes, as described in section 6.

3. Price and paying

  • The build costs £495, paid by card when you order. After that, hosting and changes cost £15 a month, taken by card each month.
  • We're not registered for VAT, so there's no VAT to add.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • If a monthly payment fails and isn't sorted within 14 days of us telling you, we may take your site offline until it is.
  • We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any change to the monthly price, and you can leave before it starts.

4. How it works and how long it takes

  • After paying, you answer our questions about your business and send any photos.
  • We aim to send you a draft within 5 working days of having all your answers.
  • You check it and either approve it or tell us what to change.
  • Once you approve it, we aim to put it live within 1 working day. Moving an existing web address can take longer, because it depends on your current provider.

5. What you tell us

  • You're responsible for the facts on your site being true: your contact details, insurance, checks, services, areas and any reviews you give us. We only publish what you tell us.
  • You must have the right to use any photos, logos or reviews you send us. You let us use them on your site.
  • We can refuse to publish anything unlawful, misleading or harmful, and we'll tell you why.

6. Changes

  • Small changes are included: for example a new phone number, service, area, opening hours, photos or a few lines of wording. We aim to make them within 2 working days.
  • Bigger work, like new pages or features, isn't included. We'll always tell you the price first, and only do it if you agree.
  • Please send changes one sensible request at a time, by email.

7. Your web address

  • We register your web address for you and renew it while you're a customer.
  • If you leave, we move it over to you, or a provider you choose, for free. Ask within 30 days of leaving.
  • If you already have a web address, it stays yours. We just point it at your new site, and any email on it keeps working.

8. Leaving

  • You can cancel the monthly payment at any time with a month's notice.
  • At the end of your notice we take your site offline.
  • The build fee covers the work of writing and building your site, so it isn't refundable once we've started on your draft. If you cancel before we start, we'll refund it in full.

9. Who owns what

  • Your business name, logo, photos and facts stay yours.
  • The words we write for your site are yours to use, including after you leave.
  • The design, templates and code we build sites with stay ours. We license them to you while you're a customer.

10. What we can't promise

  • A good website helps you win work, but we can't promise a number of enquiries, customers or a position on Google.
  • We work hard to keep your site online, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable, for example during maintenance or a problem with our hosting provider.
  • If something goes wrong because of us, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before. We're not responsible for lost profits or lost business. Nothing here limits anything that can't be limited by law.

11. Ending things from our side

We can end the service with 30 days' notice, for example if we stop trading. If we do, we'll move your web address to you for free and give back any monthly payment for time you haven't had. We can end it straight away if you seriously break these terms, for example by asking us to publish something unlawful.

12. The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
